Job summary

Gavin de Becker & Associates (GDBA) is seeking qualified Protectors to join our Seattle-area team. This full-time role requires relocation within commutable distance of Seattle and offers relocation assistance on a case-by-case basis; candidates must reside within 40 miles of Seattle.

The Protector role includes monitoring properties, screening visitors, coordinating security plans, providing protection and transportation, and preparing incident documentation.

Qualifications

• Military, law enforcement, or experience in executive protection/security is meaningful.
• Our Protectors succeed by communicating effectively, staying physically fit, learning quickly, telling the truth, and working in a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor property using the tools of a GDBA Command Center.
• Screen visitors and vendors; control all access to protected sites.
• Coordinate and execute security plans and respond to medical emergencies.
• Provide physical protection and logistical support at clients' homes and during travel.
• Provide secure transportation as needed.
• Survey and prepare locations prior to client arrival.
• Prepare detailed documentation of suspicious activity.
• Create and maintain readiness to meet any threat.
