Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Executive Protection Driver in the Chicago area to provide secure ground transportation and on-site security for senior executives. The role includes advance planning, route optimization, and coordination with security teams to ensure safety during travel and events.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in executive protection or law enforcement, a clean driving record, and Heartsaver CPR AED certification.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of executive protection, law enforcement, or military experience.
• 4+ years of professional driving experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Chicago traffic patterns and routes.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with clean record; no major infractions.
• Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED certification required on hire.
• Executive protection training completed or willing to complete on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide secure ground transportation and on-site personal security for senior executives and board members.
• Perform protective advance planning and threat vulnerability assessments.
• Develop alternate routes to avoid congestion and risks.
• Coordinate travel logistics with assistants and security teams.
• Maintain confidentiality of information encountered on duty.
• Maintain vehicles in excellent condition and ensure readiness for assignments.
• Respond rapidly to medical and security emergencies.
• Maintain incident and travel reports for leadership review.
