Job summary

GE Aerospace in the United States seeks an Executive Protection & Security Specialist to safeguard senior leaders, employees, and assets across domestic and international engagements. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, or a related field, or 10 years of law enforcement or military service in a related field.
• Candidates will be required to carry a firearm. Must meet LEOSA eligibility and be authorized to carry a concealed firearm.
• Pass Fitness for Duty Examination.
• Previous experience in executive protection, preferably with high-profile clients.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally; 40–60% travel on average; varies with business needs.
• Proven track record in supporting security at large-scale events.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; handle pressure and multitask.
• Discretion in all aspects of the job.
• Proficiency in security technology and surveillance systems.
• Must deploy rapidly to support urgent security needs.

Responsibilities

• Executive Protection Planning: Implement and coordinate comprehensive executive protection plans for high-profile individuals within the organization.
• Risk & Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify threats and recommend mitigation actions for people, events, and business operations.
• Protective Services Support: Provide driving, logistics, and protective services under senior management direction for senior executives, Board members, and others as directed.
• Public Engagement & Travel Security: Ensure safety during public appearances, meetings, and engagements, including domestic and international travel support.
• Event Security Operations: Coordinate security operations for conferences, meetings, and events with planners and security teams.
• On-Site Team & External Coordination: Coordinate on-site security teams and interface with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Audits, Inspections & Compliance: Conduct security audits and inspections to ensure policy and standards compliance.
• Security Technology Enablement: Implement and monitor security technologies to enhance overall security posture.
• Training & Awareness: Provide training and guidance on security best practices and emergency response.
• Protective Services Program Execution: Manage elements of the Protective Services program as assigned by leadership.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Site Security Leaders, HR, Legal, Facilities, and stakeholders.
• After-Action Reporting: Administer reports for events and security operations; capture lessons learned.
• Special Projects: Undertake special projects with timely completion and stakeholder communication.
• Crisis Response Support: Rapid deployment to locations needing security support.
