Job summary

Control Risks is seeking an Executive Protection Analyst to join our security team. The Analyst will monitor and safeguard the client's Executive teams, including global C-Suite members, during travel and at facilities worldwide.

The role operates on a 4x12 night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am), four days on and four off, providing 24/7 coverage. Responsibilities include threat assessment, live monitoring, incident coordination, reporting, and ongoing security training.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience in a GSOC or Security Operations role within tech.
  • Experience in protective intelligence or executive protection is a plus.
  • Knowledge of security systems, incident response protocols and emergency management.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with clear information presentation.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex situations and multitask.
  • Proficiency with security technology and reporting software.
  • Willingness to work overnight, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct monitoring for executive teams, including traveling C-Suite members globally.
  • Identify and assess threats to executives using OSINT and security tools.
  • Develop risk assessments for cities and events; conduct live monitoring as needed.
  • Conduct real-time incident assessments and coordinate responses with stakeholders.
  • Document incidents thoroughly, including actions and outcomes for analysis.
  • Support execution of security protocols and procedures as directed.
  • Assist in developing security reports and intelligence products.
  • Engage in regular training to stay current on security trends and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security processes and incident response.

Job description

Control Risks is looking for a dedicated Executive Protection Analyst to join our renowned security team. The Analyst will be essential in monitoring and ensuring the safety of our client's Executive team, specifically focusing on the travels of their global C-Suite teams. This role involves monitoring and analyzing security systems to ensure the safety and security of personnel, facilities, and operations.

This position will cover 24/7/365 on a 4x12 shift schedule night shift schedule. This will require the candidate to work 4 days on of 12 hour shifts, followed by 4 days off. This role will cover night shifts 7:00 pm-7:00 am.

  • Provide direct monitoring for the client's Executive Teams, including C-Suite Executives dispersed globally and while on travels.
  • Identify and assess threats to executives and personnel through OSINT, social media monitoring, investigative platforms, and security intelligence tools
  • Develop risk assessments for cities and events for the executive teams, and conduct live monitoring as needed.
  • Conduct real-time assessments of incidents and coordinate the appropriate response with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Document all incidents thoroughly, including actions taken and the outcome, for future reference and analysis.
  • Support the execution of security protocols and procedures as directed by leadership to maintain a safe environment.
  • Assist in the development of security reports and intelligence products that inform decision-making processes.
  • Engage in regular training to uphold knowledge of security trends, technologies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security processes and upgrade incident response strategies.
Requirements
  • 0-2 years of experience in a GSOC, Security Operations, or similar role working in the technology sector
  • Experience working in protective intelligence and/or executive protection a plus
  • Working knowledge of security systems, incident response protocols, and emergency management.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and make sound decisions under stress.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capacity to assess complex situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using security technology and software applications related to monitoring and reporting.
  • Capability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000-78,000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
