Job summary

The Milken Institute seeks an Associate Director, Special Projects to provide strategic support to the Office of the CEO. The role focuses on developing briefing materials, leading research, and managing high‑impact, cross‑functional initiatives from concept through completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience supporting senior leadership, executive offices, strategic initiatives, research, project management, policy, communications, or special projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of executive briefing documents, talking points, background research, meeting materials, and event summaries for the CEO’s engagements.
• Manage cross‑functional projects for the Office of the CEO from scope to delivery.
• Conduct and synthesize research to support executive decision‑making and strategic planning.
• Collect, clean, analyze, and summarize data to inform briefings and decision materials.
• Draft and refine high‑quality executive‑facing materials with accuracy and clarity.
