The ideal candidate is an individual contributor and people manager who combines strong program leadership and executive communication skills with a solid understanding of digital products, e-commerce, media ecosystems, data, and customer experiences. This position must often influence without authority across different reporting lines making strong communication and strategic conviction a necessity along with finding the balance between thoughtfulness and an “ask for forgiveness not permission” mindset.
This position will be on-site at either our New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA office locations.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with C-suite executives and senior leadership to translate business strategy into actionable roadmaps, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Optimize program governance, operating rhythms, executive reporting, KPIs, risk management, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Data, UX, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Legal, Events and external partners.
  • Develop executive-level presentations, board level strategies, business reviews, dashboards, and strategic updates that clearly communicate progress, risks, decisions, and business impact.
  • Work closely with engineering and technology leaders to understand technical dependencies, architecture considerations, integrations, APIs, data flows, platforms, and delivery constraints and own the strategic upward communication of these decisions to the executive team.
  • Drive alignment between business objectives and technology execution without requiring hands-on engineering expertise.
  • Lead transformation and modernization initiatives involving e-commerce platforms, digital experiences, media/content platforms, data and analytics, personalization, CRM, advertising technology, and emerging technologies including AI.
  • Anticipate risks and dependencies, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively escalation issues requiring executive decisions.
  • Establish success metrics and use data to measure program performance, business outcomes, customer impact, and ROI.
  • Own and drive the communication layer between cross-functional tactical teams and the C-Suite separating the signals from the noise to keep all teams driving toward the same mission of maximizing business impact.
  • Drive accountability, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement across teams and departments.
Who You Are
  • 10+ years of program management, strategic operations, product operations, or related experience.
  • Significant experience in e-commerce, digital media, technology, or consumer-facing digital businesses.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex, cross-functional programs with executive visibility.
  • Strong understanding of digital commerce and media ecosystems, including customer journeys, digital platforms, content, monetization, marketplaces, advertising, and/or subscription businesses.
  • Strong technology fluency with the ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Product, Data, and Architecture teams.
  • Exceptional executive communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving, highly matrixed organizations.
  • Experience developing strategic roadmaps, program plans, operating models, KPIs, and executive-level reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Must be willing to be in-office 5 days a week at our NY or LA location.
