Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Executive Producer of High-Cadence Live Ops to lead the ongoing operations, content release cadence, and cross-functional execution of our live service games. This role is critical in ensuring players have a continuously engaging experience through regular events, content drops, updates, and timely responses to in-game needs.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, understands live game economies and engagement cycles, and is a master of cross-discipline coordination between product, design, engineering, marketing, and community teams.

Your goals will be to manage our portfolio of games with excellent production leadership, planning and executing the release of content on a regular basis, and hitting key metrics that make the games successful. You will be involved day-to-day with development teams and key stakeholders throughout Gamefam Specific duties include: ensure updates are delivered on-time and the game meets quality standards; help maintain the creative vision for the game; track overall KPI measurements; and work closely with all developers and cross-functional groups to deliver content to meet all project goals. This role will continuously iterate on best practices across all the studio games, adapting with the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end live operations for one or more high-cadence titles, driving content calendars, sprint planning, and cross-functional delivery.
  • Own the live content roadmap, ensuring consistent and timely releases of events, features, promotions, and patches
  • Coordinate across teams (e.g., game design, art, engineering, QA, marketing, analytics) to align on deliverables, priorities, and KPIs.
  • Monitor live game performance, player engagement metrics, and event effectiveness, making rapid adjustments based on data and feedback.
  • Establish and refine processes and tools for rapid iteration, quality assurance, and issue response.
  • Be a champion of the player experience — ensuring high-quality, engaging, and stable live service execution.
  • Manage live operations risk — from patch rollout to hotfixes and emergent event handling.
  • Lead a team of producers, product managers, and/or live ops specialists as needed.
  • Foster our development culture which provides continuous feedback, support, and empowerment.
  • Identify and help alleviate any discrepancies across production efforts. Keep track of requirements and address red flags as needed.
  • Help identify inefficiencies and provide long-term solutions in our feature development process to ensure developers have access to the right tools to achieve success.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of production or live operations experience in the video game industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of operating live games with frequent content releases (e.g., weekly events, seasonal content).
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of F2P mechanics, live economy balance, engagement loops, and retention strategies.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting KPIs and using data to drive decisions.
  • Calm under pressure and adept at navigating live crises, hotfixes, and unplanned events.
  • Passion for games and player-first thinking.
  • Proven mentorship experience, fostering career growth across disciplines, (programmers, analysts, producers, and artists) with a commitment to guiding and developing talent.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and people skills—someone others want to work for and with.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with mobile, MMO, or GaaS (Games-as-a-Service) titles.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, CMS platforms, and telemetry dashboards.
  • Background in product management or game design is a plus.

The base pay for this position is $130,000 – $170,000. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate location, experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.

Business and operational costs, as well as state or local employment laws, factor into the approval of locations for remote work. The states listed below are approved by Gamefam for remote work locations. CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, TX, UT, WA.
