Job Title: Executive Producer

Department: Programming

Reporting To: Brand Manager

Work Arrangement: On-Site

97.1 FM Talk (KFTK - St. Louis) is looking for a full-time Executive Producer to join our team!

The right person for this position will have a passion for NewsTalk radio and a desire to grow the brand on-air, in the community, and on social media; with significant attentiveness to digital content production.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Contribute creative story ideas
  • Operate a control board
  • Manage breaking news
  • Expertly edit and title podcasts to optimize reach for distribution across various platforms
  • Develop relationships and secure interviews with high profile contributors
  • Produce and publish content for a variety of digital platforms across the station and individual shows - including articles, videos, social media posts, and more
  • Identify areas of opportunity to expand reach of content for the show and station
  • Protect station image and licensing in accordance with applicable agencies
  • Create strong working relationships across departments
  • Assist talent and Brand Manager in managing sales requests
  • Oversee and log station inventory, report discrepancies
