Job summary

Amazon, Santa Clara, is seeking a Principal Engineer Recruiting leader to identify and hire top Principal Engineers across Amazon. You will map target companies, engage executives, and build global talent networks to support strategic engineering initiatives.

You’ll advise senior leaders on search parameters, conduct interviews, and coach hiring teams to secure transformational hires while contributing to a shared knowledge base across the PE community.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of advising and influencing executive leadership experience.
• 7+ years of progressive corporate or search firm recruiting with a focus on passive engineering candidate generation in a high tech market
• Experience in advising and influencing executive leadership
• Experience building and driving talent sourcing initiatives and pipelines

Responsibilities

• Identify technical leadership at target companies and domains.
• Craft multi-channel engagement strategies, including attending technical conferences and leveraging networks for introductions.
• Coach hiring managers on candidate engagement and interview processes.
• Contribute to the knowledge base with insights about emerging talent pools.
