Aquent is seeking an experienced Visual Communications Designer in Seattle to lead executive presentation design and visual storytelling across high-visibility content. You will partner with senior leaders to deliver broadcast-ready visuals that align with brand standards and strategic messaging.

The role emphasizes evenings and weekend work around events, with a focus on managing complex narratives and coordinating with vendors to ensure top-quality visuals for executives and partners.

Qualifications

• 10+ years managing design projects and leading design teams for events.
• Mastery of PowerPoint design and animation; portfolio of relevant work.
• Frequent contact with executives, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, identify blockers, and escalate when needed.
• Strong technical understanding of the company’s ecosystem and services.
• Collaborative, cross-team mindset with a proactive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with teams and senior leadership.
• Understanding of creative teams and various media is crucial.
• Strong executive presence and ability to build senior client relationships.
• Willingness to travel 25%+ and work weekends for events.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary presentation designer and point of contact for executives.
• Drive design solutions for executive communication assets while following brand guidelines.
• Engage with visual communications suppliers and manage vendor relationships.
• Show solid knowledge of typography, iconography, composition, color, and layout.
• Manage priorities, deadlines, and staffing for executive support during events.
• Coordinate with communications teams to anticipate needs and avoid roadblocks.
• Build visual narratives that align with strategy and collaborate with design teams.
• Provide feedback to suppliers during development and after presentations.
• Archive executive content for future reference and reuse.
• Travel to events, including international destinations as needed.
