Job summary

Spine & Orthopedic Center (SOC) is seeking an experienced Practice Administrator to provide executive-level leadership for our multi-location orthopedic and spine practice.

In this role, you will collaborate with physician leadership to direct business performance, staffing, recruitment, finance, marketing, and growth, while building high-performing teams and ensuring patient-centered operations across four South Florida locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field required, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive healthcare administration or medical practice management leadership experience.
• Master’s degree preferred with seven (7)+ years leadership experience.
• Experience in orthopedic/spine or multi-location practice preferred.
• Experience leading recruitment, performance management, and organizational development.
• Strong knowledge of medical-practice financial management, revenue cycle, budgeting, and performance.
• Experience with marketing oversight, vendor management, and external relationships.
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance, credentialing, EMR systems, and practice-management technology.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level administrative and business leadership across multiple locations.
• Partner with physician leadership to develop and implement strategies.
• Lead culture that is accountable and patient-focused.
• Oversee staff and management including performance, development, and accountability.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention strategies.
• Collaborate to ensure effective day-to-day operations, staffing, patient flow, and service standards.
• Monitor financial performance: cash flow, budgets, expenses, profitability, and KPIs.
• Oversee revenue-cycle operations, including collections, AR, denials, reimbursement, and billing.
• Develop strategies for each location to improve productivity and financials.
• Oversee marketing strategy, external contracts, deliverables, and ROI.
• Partner with leadership in maintaining strategic external relationships and referrals.
• Support physician recruitment, credentialing, and integration.
• Oversee vendor relationships and administrative resources.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, employment requirements, and policies.
• Develop management reports and dashboards; ensure timely execution of priorities.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvement and growth.
