Venture capital firm is looking for an Executive Personal Assistant to support the Founder / Managing Director. With their recent new fund, this is an incredible opportunity to be part of a mature yet expanding VC firm during this exciting stage and grow alongside the organization! Provide support to the Founder through calendar and inbox management, meeting coordination including board meetings, liaise with founders and investors, and attend events for on-site support. You will also provide personal support for travel arrangements for the Founder and family, book personal appointments, etc. Someone who has a white-glove service with a can-do mentality, can anticipate needs, and has strong organizational skills. Previous experience supporting senior leaders, preferably in finance or VC, is preferred. This is an in-office role, 5 days/week, based in New York. 150-165K+ DOE + performance bonus, comprehensive benefits, daily lunch provided, internet/phone stipend, and a collaborative team culture!
Responsibilities:- Provide high-level executive support to the Founder, including managing communications, scheduling, and daily priorities to ensure the executive stays organized and focused.
- Ensure inbox is consistently reviewed, prioritized, and addressed to support smooth communication and timely follow-up.
- Coordinate complex travel arrangements for both business and personal purposes, occasionally including family travel logistics.
- Manage various personal tasks and appointments, such as wellness, medical, and fitness scheduling, as part of a holistic support approach.
- Flex between executive and personal assistant duties based on seasonal needs and shifting priorities.
- Anticipate needs, proactively manage next steps, and handle logistics with minimal oversight.
- Maintain organized systems for scheduling, communication, and task tracking to support efficiency and clarity.
Qualifications:- Previous experience supporting senior executives, preferably in dynamic environments such as startups or venture capital firms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Mid-career administrative professional who is resourceful, proactive, and takes ownership of their work.
- Comfortable with flexible hours and occasional weekend availability for time-sensitive needs.
- Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
- Enthusiastic about creating structure, solving problems, and keeping workflows running smoothly.
- Familiarity with NYC events, venues, and dining is a plus.
- Positive, warm personality with a supportive and thoughtful approach to working with others.
