Job description

Runway 84 is seeking to hire a Full Time Executive Pastry Chef to spearhead its dessert and pastry program and elevate it to new heights. Anthonys Runway 84 is a fine dining Italian-American supper club and one of South Florida's hottest restaurants. Winning best restaurant and receiving national acclaim, we are looking for team members passionate about food and beverage and dedicated to hospitality. Experience and Qualifications

Responsibilities
  1. Under the direction of the Executive Chef, consults on recipes, staff, menus, and presentation of all desserts.
  2. Supervises daily operations of the dessert program.
  3. Prepares cakes, desserts, and pastries daily.
  4. Creates new desserts and specials.
  5. Participates in weekly/monthly tastings for ownership.
  6. Properly measures ingredients and food portions.
  7. Ensures kitchen staff adhere to standards, procedures, and sanitation requirements.
  8. Uses kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
  9. Manages kitchen inventory, ensuring high-quality, fresh supplies.
  10. Maintains proper food temperatures and storage.
  11. Keeps workstation and equipment clean, organized, and sanitized.
  12. Handles kitchen opening, closing, and other duties as directed.
