Overview

Executive Partner - Global Enterprise - Enterprise IT Leaders (EITL) - Security Risk Management (SRM)

Gartner’s Executive Technology Services provides executive-level advisory services for Security Risk Management (SRM). The Global Executive Partners team equips CISO/SRM executives with insights, guidance and tools to achieve mission-critical priorities and build successful organizations.

About this role:

  • You will manage a portfolio of 25-33 clients, typically CISOs, from global Fortune 500 organizations and government agencies.
  • As Executive Partner, you will deliver value through regular briefings, workshops, roundtables, webinars and Gartner events.
  • You will coach and mentor clients on critical initiatives and obstacles within Security Risk Management, using your experience and Gartner resources and research.
  • Collaborate with internal Gartner teams (Sales, Analysts, Client Managers, peers across EITL domains) to ensure value delivery.
  • This is a client-facing role requiring high executive presence and the ability to build trust and deliver value.
  • Responsible for member retention and contributing to regional growth through direct support of Gartner Sales in prospect cultivation, account plan development and value demonstration activities.
  • This is predominantly a home-based role, operating as an individual contributor managing your desk and related administrative tasks (travel, expense reports, meetings).

What you will need:

We’d love to talk to you if you have:

  • 15+ years’ experience as an executive in a Security Risk Management leadership role within a Fortune 500 company.
  • Extensive experience running security programs and/or practice areas as a Chief Information Security Officer, Security Practice Group leader or other equivalent role.
  • Experience in executive-level roles within consulting, sales or customer-facing positions.
  • Experience and expertise with modern information security programs, including:
  • Assessing business/organizational strategy and risk.
  • Developing security strategy and roadmaps aligned to organizational strategy and risk.
  • Building security teams and capabilities.
  • Implementing key security solutions including SIEM, Identity & Access Management, threat and vulnerability management, forensics, endpoint security, network security, etc.
  • Building effective, repeatable processes to support security programs.
  • Creating security metrics and reporting mechanisms.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required.
