Department: Executive Operations

About the Role:

Thunder is seeking a highly organized, resourceful, and strategic Executive Ops Analyst to support our CEO, Chief People Officer, and Head of Services. This role combines executive support, project management, and business operations, requiring a high-impact operator with exceptional attention to detail and execution.

You will enhance visibility, clarity, and follow-through on key priorities, helping our executive team focus on what matters most. If you thrive on variety, enjoy organizing complex workstreams, and like working behind the scenes as a force multiplier, this role is ideal.

Why This Role Matters:

Your contribution will be vital in scaling our internal operations and enabling Thunder's executive team to work efficiently, focus on strategic growth, and lead with clarity.

What You'll Do:
  1. Own scheduling, coordination, and communications for at least three senior executives
  2. Drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating cadences (agendas, prep, follow-ups)
  3. Manage internal projects across Talent, Services, and Strategic Ops, ensuring team alignment
  4. Track cross-functional action items and help resolve roadblocks proactively
  5. Create clear, engaging internal communications (memos, decks, Slack updates, etc.) on behalf of executives
  6. Serve as a liaison between executives and key stakeholders to maintain informed and synchronized communication
  7. Assist in preparing for important meetings such as Board meetings, investor updates, and company all-hands
What You Bring:
  1. 2–5+ years of experience in executive support and business operations, or current top-tier MBA candidates with relevant internship experience and the ability to operate in fast-paced, high-impact environments
  2. Experience in consulting (Salesforce or AWS ecosystems), VC-backed startups, or people/team operations roles (highly preferred)
  3. Exceptional written communication and organizational skills
  4. High discretion and emotional intelligence, trusted with confidential information
  5. Experience supporting or working directly with C-level executives, managing competing priorities, tight timelines, and high-stakes requests
  6. A passion for documentation, structure, and clear processes, thriving in a startup environment
  7. Proficiency with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Salesforce, and other collaboration platforms
  8. Interest in leveraging AI tools and automation to enhance efficiency and decision-making
  9. Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Salary Range:

This position offers a competitive salary between $65,000 and $85,000, complemented by variable incentives (quarterly bonuses) and stock options, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location.
