Job summary

River Oaks Hospital, a 126-bed behavioral health facility near New Orleans, LA, seeks a Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing strategy with a hands-on, patient-centric approach. The CNO will ensure high-quality, cost-effective care aligned with UHS standards and regulatory requirements.

The role focuses on People, Service, Quality, Growth and Finance, with autonomy at the facility level and access to corporate support, leadership development, and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing from an accredited program; Master’s in Nursing preferred within first year in role.
• Five+ years of progressive nursing management experience in behavioral health setting preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities to direct teams and foster a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing strategy and patient-centered care; align with mission and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in strategic planning and achievement of institutional goals.
• Oversee five key areas: People, Service, Quality, Growth, and Finance.
