Merit Health Wesley in Mississippi is seeking a Skilled Nursing Home Administrator to lead the facility's overall management, compliance, and performance. This role directs interdisciplinary teams, oversees fiscal and operational functions, and ensures high-quality, resident-centered care in line with regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with hospital and corporate leaders, drive census strategies, support staff development, and maintain survey readiness while upholding safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Seven or more years of direct experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a closely related field with a Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Provides executive leadership for all aspects of the skilled care facility, including clinical services, administrative operations, financial performance, and resident satisfaction.
• Oversees day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including CMS, OSHA, and state licensure standards.
• Collaborates with hospital and corporate leadership to align facility performance with system-wide objectives and quality standards.
• Leads and supports department managers in the development and execution of strategic and tactical plans that improve resident outcomes and staff performance.
• Drives census development and occupancy strategies by fostering positive relationships with physicians, referral sources, and community partners.
• Champions resident-centered care practices and quality improvement initiatives by participating in patient experience programs such as Press Ganey or CAHPS.
• Facilitates ongoing survey readiness and leads the team in successfully navigating regulatory inspections and audits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
