Qualifications

• Master's or postgraduate degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• Active RN license (or eligibility through compact licensure).
• Progressive executive nursing leadership experience in acute care or integrated healthcare system.
• Proven ability to lead nursing operations, quality improvement, workforce development, financial stewardship.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with physicians and executives while influencing organizational strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for nursing practice and patient care services, ensuring safe, high-quality, evidence-based care across the organization.
• Lead strategic planning and operational execution for nursing services, aligning clinical priorities with organizational goals and performance objectives.
• Partner with physicians, executive leadership, ancillary departments, and community stakeholders to enhance patient experience, physician engagement, and clinical outcomes.
• Oversee workforce planning, staffing strategies, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations and exceptional patient care.
• Foster a culture of professional nursing excellence by supporting shared governance, clinical education, leadership development, and evidence-based practice.
• Drives quality improvement initiatives by utilizing performance metrics, patient outcomes, and operational data to improve safety, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
• Promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and ensures regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and adherence to professional nursing standards.
• Serves as a visible and engaged leader, mentoring nursing leaders while cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
