Job summary

Generations LLC in Colorado is seeking a Health Services Director to lead the care team and develop resident care plans in Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. The role emphasizes compliance with federal, state, and local standards while guiding daily operations.

The ideal candidate holds a nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN), a related two-year degree, CPR and First Aid certifications, and at least three years of supervisory healthcare experience in a campus setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a two-year degree in a related field and experience in health care and/or assisted living.
• Must be a Licensed Nurse (LPN/LVN) or Registered Nurse.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Minimum three years supervisory experience in a similar campus setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing policies pertaining to total resident care, personnel, medical staff, and resident care policies.
• Explain policies and procedures to staff, residents, visitors, etc.
• Assist with and participate in staff training.
• With the AL Executive Director, hire, train, supervise, counsel as needed, and terminate care staff.
• In conjunction with AL Executive Director, perform evaluations and disciplinary actions for health care staff.
• Assist with investigations of resident care as needed.
• Complete delegation training, assessments and documentation per state guidelines.
• Review policies and procedures periodically and implement changes as necessary.
• May manage other departments as specified by AL Executive Director.
• Participate in QA studies and respond to results.
