Key Responsibilities
- Participates in the development and implementation of business strategies for the hotel aligned with Radisson’s mission, vision, values and strategies.
- Develops and implements strategies for achieving individual sales goals.
- Achieves market share and revenue goals by working with the Assistant Director of Sales on individual and team goals within assigned market segments.
- Prepares proposals and contracts to maximize profit while satisfying client needs; responds to RFPs per brand standards.
- Communicates client requests to all departments via group resumes and BEOs; solicits files timely to confirm business.
- Uses outside sales calls, prospecting, hotel tours and client hosting to solicit new business; delivers and sells hotel features and benefits to meet clients’ needs.
- Maintains relationships with in-house customers to retain and grow business, secure repeat bookings, or referrals.
- Reviews goals weekly and takes action to achieve objectives in key result areas; pivots as market and team dynamics change.
- Ensures maximum occupancy daily by following up on group progress with events services and meeting planners.
- Ensures materials comply with brand standards; may travel to trade shows and events to represent the hotel.
Operations & Reporting
- Maintains flow of information to the sales team; assists with monthly booking reports and prepares forecasts to support management decisions.
Guest Experience
- Creates 100% guest satisfaction by delivering genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.
- Provides personalized attention, teamwork, empathy in problem resolution, and a proactive hospitality mindset.
Other Responsibilities
- Performs other duties as required by Management to ensure guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities (Breakdown)
- Responsibility #1 (60%): Sales initiatives, managing RFPs, detailing BEOs, generating new leads, and negotiating for client requests.
- Responsibility #2 (20%): Conduct market research and analysis to align with industry trends and opportunities for soliciting business and maintaining client loyalty.
- Responsibility #3 (20%): Servicing of booked events within the market segment; act as liaison between guests, sales, catering and operations to ensure smooth execution.
Requirements / Skills
- Minimum 1–3 years of full-service hotel experience in sales and/or catering
- Local market knowledge preferred
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience managing to brand standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively with hotel staff and managers
- Exposure to or coordination of hotel sales contract laws
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Delphi and/or Opera experience
- Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule

- Dexterity for use of office equipment
Other Information
- The hotel operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Assignee may be required to move shifts or duties as business dictates.
