Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking an Executive Medical Director, Medical Group Surgical Quality to lead system-wide surgical quality initiatives, improve patient safety, and drive outcomes across the health system. Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Doctorate Medicine Required
• Board certification in a surgical specialty within the Department of Surgery.
• Current medical license (or eligibility) in the state of practice.
• 5+ years of experience in EMR optimization, clinical informatics and total population health.
• Demonstrated leadership in quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Drive standardization of care and monitor quality and safety metrics.
• Advise executive leadership on surgical quality strategy and accreditation readiness.
• Collaborate with value-based care programs and EHPP to align incentives.
• Lead efforts to standardize patient access, scheduling, and throughput.
• Develop and track ambulatory service metrics (wait times, call center responsiveness, digital access).
• Foster a culture of patient-centered care, equity, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee analytics and dashboards for access, quality, utilization, and financials.
• Partner with IT/analytics to optimize Epic data and population health reporting.
• Oversee ambulatory safety initiatives and risk management.
• Standardize clinical care and develop systemwide specialty operational playbooks.
