Job summary

HSHS Prairie Cardiovascular in Springfield, IL, invites a physician leader to become Executive Medical Director of one of the Midwest's premier cardiovascular service lines. You will guide strategy, quality, and research while maintaining an active cardiology practice.

The role combines executive responsibilities with clinical patient care, mentoring physician and APP leaders, and representing the program with health-system partners. Excellent compensation and relocation support offered.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership for HSHS Prairie Cardiovascular.
Advance quality, innovation, and clinical excellence.
Mentor physician & APP leaders and strengthen provider engagement.
Partner with executive leadership to support service line and organizational growth.
Represent HSHS Prairie Cardiovascular throughout the communities we serve.
Evolve the service line toward value-based and population health outcomes.
Report to the President & CEO of Illinois Physician Enterprise.
Maintain an active clinical cardiology practice within the service line.
