Job summary

The Nemours Foundation seeks a Medical Director of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia to guide the Cardiac Anesthesia Division across Florida campuses, including Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando. This physician leader will set strategic direction, oversee clinical operations, and advance high-quality outcomes in collaboration with the Cardiac Center leadership.

MD/DO with ABA pediatric anesthesia subspecialty and leadership experience is required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with ABA board certification in pediatric anesthesia.
• Experience leading pediatric cardiac anesthesia programs.
• Academic leadership experience and eligibility for Florida medical license.
• Strong collaboration and strategic planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision, strategic direction, and management of the pediatric cardiac anesthesia service.
• Collaborate with Nemours Cardiac Center leadership across campuses to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Lead program development, policies, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Represent the department in academic activities and hospital governance.
