This leader will play a critical role in shaping the future of ambulatory care delivery-partnering across clinical, operational, and population health teams to enhance quality, access, equity, and provider experience.
The Executive Medical Director serves as a key physician leader across the MGB Community Physicians (MGB CP) network, working in close collaboration with the Population Health Services Organization (PHSO) and Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO).
This role is responsible for driving performance across affiliate practices, leading practice transformation initiatives, advancing value-based care strategies, and identifying and supporting strategic growth opportunities.
MD or DO required; Active medical license (or ability to obtain); Master's degree in Public Health or Business Administration required
5-7+ years of clinical experience in primary care; 8-10+ years of leadership experience in medical management
Experience in value-based care and population health; strong ambulatory operations knowledge; ability to influence physicians; data-driven decision making; partnership development; strong communication skills
This role includes both administrative leadership and clinical responsibilities. Regular travel to community affiliate sites is expected.
