Job summary

CFGI’s Managed Services Delivery practice seeks a Managing Director to lead strategic client relationships, delivery excellence, and commercial growth across complex engagements.

You will partner with CFOs, CAOs, Controllers, and other executives to shape scalable finance operating models, deliver sustained value, and build a strong leadership pipeline within CFGI’s Managed Services business.

Qualifications

• 14+ years in public accounting, accounting advisory, outsourced accounting, managed services, or corporate finance.
• Experience leading complex accounting and managed‑services client relationships and engagement teams.
• Experience owning senior executive client relationships and contributing to business development.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow strategic Managed Services client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor to CFOs and senior stakeholders.
• Provide executive oversight across complex Managed Services engagements including assessment, transition, and ongoing delivery.
• Shape outsourced controllership and finance operating models aligning people, processes, technology, governance, and performance.
• Establish and oversee delivery governance, service expectations, KPIs, and executive reporting across major client relationships.
• Advise clients on complex accounting, financial reporting, controllership, internal control, and finance‑operating challenges.
• Lead strategic improvement initiatives across key finance processes (procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, close, and reporting).
• Champion AI, automation, analytics, and finance technologies to improve service quality and scalability.
• Mobilize CFGI capabilities to deliver integrated client solutions and measure engagement performance.
• Develop Directors, Senior Managers, and other leaders through coaching and succession planning.
• Drive expansion within existing relationships and cross-sell CFGI capabilities.
• Originate new Managed Services opportunities through executive relationships and market activity.
• Lead proposals, solution design, and executive presentations to secure client relationships.
