Job summary

Chembond Water Technologies Limited is seeking an Executive Maintenance professional to lead maintenance strategy and daily operations at the Dudhwada Plant. The role focuses on planning, supervising, and improving preventative maintenance programs and ensuring equipment availability.

You will drive safety, cost control, and data accuracy while coordinating internal teams and external contractors to meet KPIs and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in mechanical discipline is required.
• Strong understanding of maintenance practices and safety.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to maintenance strategy, policies, and procedures to improve operational performance.
• Delegate maintenance tasks and small projects to appropriate team members across shifts.
• Adhere to daily/weekly checks to ensure smooth site operation.
• Develop and lead a preventive maintenance schedule and manage missed activities.
• Audit and ensure compliance of engineering data systems.
• Plan internal and external work to maximize planned downtime and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Manage the team to maintain machine availability and address dysfunctional equipment.
• Optimize equipment to meet KPIs and improve product quality.
• Ensure routine calibration and maintenance of electro-mechanical systems.
• Ensure buildings and facilities are fit for purpose and provide proactive support.
• Control maintenance spend with clear accountability and budgeting.
• Maintain data storage systems and produce reports and presentations.
• Provide ongoing training and development for staff.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement effective resolutions.
• Deploy technical skills and resources for projects, including external resources as needed.
• Meet KPIs by following the plan and reporting on progress.
• Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.

Job Description

• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Maintenance activities
• General and Task Management 2) Effectively delegate any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift and small projects to the right skills in the team, planning and managing effective works
• 3) Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site
• 4) Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively
• 5) Audit and ensure compliance of the engineering data systems
• 6) Schedule both internal and external work(s) maximizing planned down time and reducing unplanned downtime
• 7) Manage the team to ensure machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctional machinery with the Shift management
• 8) Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• 9) Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertaken
• 10) Ensure that designated buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required
• 11) Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend combined with a strategy to manage expenditure
• 12) Manage systems and equipment data storage and maintain high levels of standards and accuracy s Produce written reports and make presentations
