Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) for a VA Health Care System with multiple sites and a broad catchment area.

The CSCO will develop and integrate a cohesive, forward-looking supply chain to meet logistical requirements across sites of care. Qualifications include 1 year of specialized experience at GS-13 level or higher, with demonstrated leadership in supply chain management, acquisition, purchasing, transportation, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-13 in the Federal service.
• Experience as a senior supply chain leader/supervisor ensuring logistical requirements are met.
• Knowledge in acquisition, purchasing, transportation, distribution, and inventory control.
