Job summary

Saint Vincent Hospital, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking a Designated Institutional Official (DIO) to oversee Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs. The DIO ensures compliance with ACGME requirements, leads the GMEC, and collaborates with executive leadership to advance the institution's educational mission.

Engage in strategic planning, program administration, and financial stewardship while fostering a culture of educational excellence, safety, and trainee wellbeing across residency

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required.
• Extensive leadership experience in Graduate Medical Education (GME).
• Experience with ACGME accreditation and program oversight.
• Strong budget development and financial management skills.
• Proven ability to lead academic governance and committees.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership for GME across the Massachusetts Market.
• Maintain compliance with ACGME Institutional Requirements.
• Chair GMEC and oversee residency and fellowship programs.
• Provide governance, financial stewardship, and faculty development.
• Lead initiatives to improve the learning environment and trainee wellbeing.
• Perform related duties as required.
