Job summary

Applied Materials in Kalispell, MT seeks a senior manufacturing leader to oversee the Montana Production Operations (MPO) and Montana Manufacturing Solutions (MMS). You will direct two operations with ~300 staff, align site strategy with business goals, and balance cost, quality, and delivery.

You will partner with BU executives, drive continuous improvement, and ensure readiness for new product introductions, while shaping a high-performance culture and organizational capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading large, multi-operation sites in a capital equipment environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Montana site MPO and MMS as the senior manufacturing leader.
• Set strategy for integrated site performance, resource allocation, and improvement initiatives.
• Interface with business unit executives to ensure alignment with roadmaps and financial targets.
• Drive cost, cash, and responsiveness improvements across both operations.
• Build organizational capability and leadership across MPO and MMS.
• Ensure site readiness for new product introductions and commercialization plans.
• Foster a continuous improvement culture using systemic tools.
• Direct the ~300-person site through managers across production, machining, assembly, test, and quality.
• Manage capacity, workforce flexibility, and shared services between MPO and MMS.
