Job summary

Cook Group is seeking a Senior Director of Data Governance and Stewardship to lead the organization's data governance efforts and embed data ownership across business functions. This role involves evolving Cook's enterprise data governance framework, ensuring consistent definitions and quality standards, while collaborating with IT to embed governance in platform decisions.

Ideal candidates will have over 12 years of experience in data management with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in complex organizations. The role requires knowledge of regulatory environments and a commitment to enhancing data literacy across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in data management and governance, including 5 years in senior leadership.
• Demonstrated success advancing data governance programs in complex organizations.
• Ability to drive adoption in organizations with low data literacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead evolution of Cook Medical’s data governance framework and policies.
• Maintain and advance a data governance roadmap focused on business impact.
• Partner with HR to build a foundational Data/AI literacy program.
