Job summary

Texas A&M University Health Science Center, College of Nursing, seeks a Deputy Director for the Center of Excellence in Forensic Nursing in Bryan, TX. This senior role oversees daily operations, staff supervision, budget, and strategic planning for a grant-funded center.

The Deputy Director will coordinate with stakeholders, drive initiatives aligned with the Center’s goals, and represent leadership in external engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ten years of related experience.
• Master’s degree in business or leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily administration of the Center of Excellence in Forensic Nursing.
• Lead teams and coordinate with Human Resources on staffing.
• Develop and monitor budgets and high-level work plans.
• Represent the Center in meetings, community events and with stakeholders.
