Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a biological, chemical, biomedical, or related field is required.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) strongly favored.
• Experience leading complex research programs, teams, and budgets.
• Experience in academic medical centers and cross-disciplinary collaboration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and advance the scientific and operational vision of the Korzenik Lab and the Resnek Family Center.
• Lead all aspects of laboratory operations, infrastructure, scheduling, space allocation, equipment, vendor relationships, and inventory systems.
• Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to research staff, trainees, and laboratory personnel.
• Ensure regulatory readiness and compliance oversight, biosafety practices, and protocol management.
• Oversee budget planning and resource forecasting for the lab and related activities.
