Job summary

The HealthCare Initiative seeks an Executive Director for a Senior RN Critical Care Leadership opportunity in the Mid-Atlantic region. The role reports to the Chief Nurse and leads ICU/Critical Care operations with a broad platform for patient care improvement and nursing career satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years of nursing/leadership experience, BSN and a master’s degree. DNP and leadership/critical care certifications are highly valued, with experience in high-acuity trauma centers

Qualifications

• RN with strong critical care nursing foundation.
• Demonstrated success leading people, operations and clinical improvement.
• Ability to move between day-to-day operations and big-picture strategy.
• DNP and leadership/critical care certifications highly valued.
• Experience in high acuity trauma center, tertiary, academic or complex acute-care environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple critical care units and ~320 FTEs.
• Influence day-to-day operations, quality and future direction of clinical areas.
• Provide strategic leadership and drive clinical improvement across units.
