Job summary

True North Goodwill in Duluth, MN seeks a Vice President of Human Resources to lead all people strategies for a multi-site nonprofit. You will partner with the CEO and executive team to shape enterprise-wide workforce planning, talent development, and organizational change.

The role oversees compensation, benefits, HR systems, compliance, and analytics, builds a high-performing HR team, and drives culture, engagement, and succession.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership with enterprise strategy responsibility.
• Experience leading HR in multi-site organizations with frontline workforce.
• Experience advising CEOs/executive teams, coaching leaders, managing complex employee relations.
• Experience using workforce analytics and HR technology to improve decisions and outcomes.
• Executive presence and business acumen with ability to translate issues into actions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an active member of the Executive Leadership Team and bring an enterprise perspective to strategy, growth, planning, and resource decisions.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy aligned with the mission, operating model, and workforce needs.
• Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, succession planning, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness efforts.
• Strengthen manager capability, employee engagement, performance management, communication, retention, and culture.
• Provide executive oversight of complex employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, total rewards, employment compliance, policies, HR systems, workforce analytics, and HR budget.
• Lead, develop, and hold accountable a high-performing HR team.
• Guide the people dimension of organizational change and readiness.
