Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead housekeeping operations at our Little Rock location. The role focuses on service excellence, staff leadership, and maintaining spotless guest areas while aligning with brand standards and safety guidelines.

The position is full-time, on-site with compensation in the $40,000–$45,000 range and a benefits package including health insurance, retirement matching, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School education.
• Minimum of three (3) years in Housekeeping management position.

Responsibilities

• Schedules room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage.
• Inspects suites and public areas for cleanliness and repair.
• Performs housekeeping duties including making beds, vacuuming, cleaning.
• Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms during the shift.
• Hires, coaches and disciplines direct reports.
• Notify management of maintenance needs.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedules room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage
• Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair
• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning
• Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift
• Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness. Counsels Housekeepers on discrepancies
• Notifies GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary
• Hires, coaches and disciplines direct reports
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years in Housekeeping management position

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic math skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
