Lodging Host Hotel Corp is launching a Residence Inn Longview and seeks an Executive Housekeeper to oversee cleanliness across guest rooms, meeting spaces and back-of-house areas. The role involves staffing, training, and supervising teams to uphold high service and safety standards.

• Manager/Supervisor experience: 1 year preferred.
• English and Spanish language skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and monitor staff workload to meet cleanliness standards.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for quality and safety.
• Hire, train, and discipline staff as needed and communicate directions clearly.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and submit work orders.
• Ensure compliance with housekeeping SOPs and OSHA guidelines.

Lodging Host Hotel Corp is looking for an experienced Executive Housekeeper for our brand-new Residence Inn Longview property. This property is set to open in mid- to late September, but hiring starts immediately!The main duties of an Executive Housekeeper are to ensure that the cleanliness standards of the guest rooms, meeting areas, public areas, and back-of-the-house are met through the optimal training, staffing, and supervision of employees. They will work closely with management to efficiently maintain supplies and proactively monitor guest service scores and comments.ResponsibilitiesPlan, organize, and monitor staff workload to ensure compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards, which requires visual and written inspections of guest rooms and public space areas.Conduct periodic inventory of guest supplies, small equipment and linen as required.Use labor management tools to schedule employees in accordance with needs of the hotel.Interview, hire, train, resolve problems, provide open communication and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate of staff members.Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff.Interact positively with customers and take action to resolve problems to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality.Evaluate condition of furniture, fixtures, décor, etc. Submit work orders and coordinate with Maintenance when appropriate.Ensure compliance of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and policies.Operate department pursuant to OSHA requirements and guidelines.Benefits (Waiting period may apply)Salary is negotiable, based on experience.Paid Sick timePaid Vacation time401(k) and 401(k) employer matchTuition reimbursement for job-related studiesHotel Housekeeping Experience: 2 years (Required)Manager/Supervisor Experience: 1 year preferredFluent in English and Spanish preferred but not requiredAbility to stand/walk continuously throughout the dayAbility to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
