Overview

Why We Need Your Talents:

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned areas within the department to ensure Live! Casino & Hotel standards are maintained by all team members. The role involves providing leadership to enhance employee engagement and guest satisfaction. Ensures cleanliness and appearance standards for all housekeeping areas, including guest rooms, back of house, and public areas. Assists in managing all levels of housekeeping staff, effectively managing diverse personalities, and maintaining a calm environment under pressure. Focuses on key drivers of employee engagement and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provides clear direction, sets goals and timelines, manages guest satisfaction, and monitors progress to achieve results.
  • Conducts effective pre-shifts for communication, manages team productivity, and oversees daily duties including room quality control, guest requests, and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Assists with training and development, conducts employee coaching, disciplinary actions, and performance reviews.
  • Ensures team members are equipped with necessary tools, supports their success, and maintains high standards of service and cleanliness through regular inspections.
  • Addresses guest issues promptly and professionally, maintaining standards of service and adhering to policies.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

  • Ability to read and interpret instructions and communicate effectively with guests and staff.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, active listening, scheduling, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Flexible schedule, confidentiality, and multilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree or equivalent management experience, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses, communicate effectively in English, and possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to work all shifts, including weekends, and adapt to business demands.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 20 lbs, bending, kneeling, standing, walking, and use of stairs/elevators.
