Job summary

Kolter Hospitality seeks an Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping and laundry operations at Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale. You will plan, organize, and direct the department to deliver clean, safe, and efficient guest spaces.

The role requires at least three years of hotel housekeeping supervisory or management experience; a bachelor’s degree in hotel management or equivalent is preferred. Ability to schedule staff, manage inventory, and uphold safety standards is essential.

Job Details: Job Location: Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale - Lauderdale, FL 33316, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $58,000.00 - $58,000.00 Salary/year, Job Shift: Any, Overview: A Kolter Hospitality Executive Housekeeper delivers service excellence to our guests by ensuring the most efficient and cleanest hotel. This position is responsible for the planning, organization and direction of the overall housekeeping and laundry operation.

Performance Expectations:

• Establish standards and procedures for housekeeping staff.
• Inspect and evaluate physical condition of hotel.
• Manage, control and operate within budget for maximum performance.
• Ensure proper inventory of all linens needed for guestroom and property PAR is maintained.
• Ensure guest supplies and cleaning supplies are in stock by maintaining proper inventory.
• Properly schedule staff to provide coverage and adjust accordingly.
• Hire and train all housekeeping/laundry staff.
• Monitor payroll and productivity of department to meet forecast and budget.
• Inspect rooms and public areas daily.
• Manage the lost and found process
• Work with engineering on preventative maintenance program.
• Report any items in need of repair.
• Follow all safety procedures while working.

General Requirements:

• Able to work most weekends and holidays.
• Report to work on time and in proper uniform.

Experience:

Three (3) years previous hotel housekeeping supervisor or management experience.

Education:

None. Bachelor’s degree preferably hotel management or equivalent education a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight (minimum of 50 lbs)
