Aperture Hotels is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the Back of House, hire and terminate staff, coach and train team members, and ensure rooms are clean, stocked and inviting for guests.

This role assigns rooms, inspects cleanliness, manages laundry, maintains stock levels, handles guest queries, trains on brand standards, and reports maintenance needs with a focus on QA scores.

Responsibilities

• Assign housekeeping boards in morning.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and brand adherence.
• Hire Back of House staff (excluding maintenance) as directed by GM.
• Train staff on hotel cleaning standards, laundry standards and BOH procedures.
• Keep hotel stocked with supplies and inventory on hand.
• Ensure uniforms and nametags are worn daily.
• Maintain labor standards set by GM.
• Address guest concerns and meet QA targets (Medallia/Brand).
• Change bed linen and make beds.
• Restock towels and amenities as needed.
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors; assist Laundry duties.
• Dust furniture and fixtures; replenish bath products.
• Restock beverages and beverage supplies.
• Clean public areas and report maintenance needs timely.
• Address guest questions about services.
• Retrieve lost items and coordinate with front desk.
• Ensure rooms are clean and stocked by end of shift.
• Follow hotel security guidelines; obtain supervisor approval to clock out.

Executive Housekeeper

The Executive Housekeeper responsibilities include all aspects of the Back of the House including hiring/terminating employees, coaching/counseling, training of new or current staff, cleanliness of the hotel, running the laundry and maintaining the supply of stock on hand. Their responsibilities also include assigning rooms, inspecting rooms, or cleaning rooms as needed. You will also address guests' queries and make sure our rooms are fully-stocked, clean and inviting at all times. Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us.

Essential Functions

• Assign housekeeping boards in morning
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, any maintenance issues, and adherence to brand standards
• Hire new employees for Back of House (BOH) except maintenance team (unless directed by GM)
• Train employees on hotel cleaning standards, laundry standards and BOH procedures
• Keep hotel stocked with supplies and keep a list of inventories on hand
• Ensure employees have uniforms, including nametags, and wear them daily
• Maintain labor standards given by the GM
• Address guest concerns and ensure that the minimum expected scores on Medallia/Brand QA are met and exceeded whenever possible
• Change bed linen and make beds
• Remove/Restock used towels
• Vacuum carpets plus sweep and mop floors
• Assist with Laundry duties as needed
• Dust furniture and fixtures
• Replenish bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo)
• Restock beverages and beverage supplies
• Clean public areas, like corridors and common areas as needed
• Report any technical issues and maintenance needs in a timely manner
• Address guests' queries (e.g. on additional services)
• Help guests retrieve lost items by inquiring with front desk for them and turn in all items with any possible received value to management
• Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and fully restocked by the end of the shift
• Follow hotel security guidelines
• Get permission from supervisor or manager before clocking out

Education, Experience, Other Requirements

Required
