Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas seeks a Medical Assistant to support patient care and coordination in a busy clinic. You will help with medication management, patient monitoring, and a range of clinical tasks, working closely with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Medical Assisting Program.
• Completion of a clinical externship (extensive externship may be considered).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA or Red Cross.
• Current demonstrated clinical proficiency.
• Military training backgrounds (HM/68W/4N0X1) may be considered.
• Preferred: Medical Assisting Certification.
• Preferred: Cleveland Clinic Externship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care by supporting medication management, patient monitoring and related tasks.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to coordinate care.
• Perform screenings, data collection, specimen collection, tests and documentation.
• Maintain equipment, supplies and examination areas.
