Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Director of Governance, Risk & Compliance in Addison, TX (hybrid: 2–4 days onsite). You will lead enterprise GRC, SOX, and SOC 2 Type II initiatives, shaping risk management and regulatory compliance across IT and business units.

You will partner with executives, build scalable governance programs, and mentor a cross-functional team to advance security, auditing, and control maturity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Governance, Risk & Compliance, Information Security, or IT audit.
• 5+ years leading GRC or Information Security teams.
• Proven experience owning enterprise SOX compliance programs.
• Experience leading SOC 2 Type II audits from planning to completion.
• Strong knowledge of IT General Controls, internal controls, risk management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to executive leadership.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization's GRC program and drive continuous maturity.
• Own and manage the enterprise SOX compliance program including audit coordination.
• Lead SOC 2 Type II compliance efforts and serve as primary contact for external auditors.
• Develop and enhance IT control frameworks and governance processes.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to identify and mitigate enterprise risk.
• Provide executive-level reporting on compliance initiatives and risk posture.
• Oversee Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) including vendor risk assessments.
• Support governance related to security questionnaires and regulatory inquiries.
• Develop policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing GRC team across functions.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and compliance effectiveness.
