Position:

The Executive Glamping Housekeeper provides leadership, direction, and oversight for all housekeeping operations within Paws Up Montana’s seasonal Glamping accommodations. This position is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and personalized luxury service throughout the Glamping season, while overseeing seasonal staffing, pre-opening preparations, and end-of-season transitions.

Working in close partnership with the Glamping Operations team, the Executive Glamping Housekeeper ensures that housekeeping operations are seamlessly integrated into the overall Glamping experience while maintaining a dedicated housekeeping team separate from the Village housekeeping operation during the season.

During the offseason, this position oversees the organization, preparation, and preservation of Glamping accommodations and supplies. The Executive Glamping Housekeeper works collaboratively with the Executive Housekeeper while maintaining independent leadership and accountability for Glamping housekeeping functions.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Consistently uphold the core values and standards of Paws Up Montana, ensuring every interaction reflects the authenticity, warmth, and refined professionalism of Montana hospitality.
  • Oversee all seasonal housekeeping operations for Glamping accommodations, ensuring guest tents and associated spaces meet the resort’s standards for cleanliness, presentation, and comfort.
  • Lead the planning, preparation, and execution of Glamping housekeeping pre-opening activities, including tent setup, linen and amenity preparation, and supply organization.
  • Coordinate the opening and closing of Glamping accommodations in partnership with the Glamping Operations team, ensuring all housekeeping-related tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and according to established timelines.
  • Manage seasonal housekeeping recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure appropriate staffing levels and consistent service standards throughout the operating season.
  • Establish and maintain housekeeping procedures, checklists, inspection standards, and operational workflows that support consistency, efficiency, and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Work closely with the Glamping Operations team to understand and coordinate daily operational workflows, guest arrival and departure schedules, and service expectations.
  • Develop a strong working relationship with Glamping Managers and Butlers to ensure housekeeping services align with the personalized nature of the Glamping experience.
  • Monitor housekeeping inventory, linens, amenities, equipment, and supplies, ensuring appropriate stock levels, responsible usage, and organized storage throughout the season.
  • Maintain consistent communication with other departments to ensure accommodations are guest-ready and service expectations are met.
  • Lead daily pre-shift meetings to communicate priorities, operational updates, and departmental goals to the housekeeping team.
  • Perform housekeeper duties as needed, particularly during periods of low occupancy or reduced staffing needs.
  • During the offseason, support Village housekeeping operations as needed.
  • Oversee offseason Glamping upkeep, including tent care, inventory organization, supply management, equipment storage, and other preservation and maintenance preparations necessary to protect accommodations and ensure readiness for the following season.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and other hours as required by the seasonal nature of the hospitality industry.
  • Provide exceptional guest service by responding promptly and professionally to guest requests while delivering personalized hospitality.
  • Complete all assigned daily housekeeping checklists accurately and on time.
  • Support all housekeeping operations and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Monitor guest feedback and internal inspection scores, and implement improvement strategies that align with guest expectations and business objectives.
Supportive Functions and Responsibility:

  • Always demonstrate professionalism and hospitality to guests and team members.
  • Handle guest transactions legally, ethically, and confidentially.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all team members to foster and promote a positive working environment.
