Requirements

1. Enthusiasm for coaching clients and using executive function skills to transform lives.
2. Resourceful and have attention to detail.
3. Proficiency in communicating complex concepts in simple and sometimes creative ways.
4. Ability to build strong relationships with clients, caregivers, and colleagues through live meetings, virtual communications, and documentation of coaching sessions.
5. A schedule that allows you to consistently provide a minimum of 15 hours of coaching per month, with the ideal goal of 25+ hours.
6. Clear and timely communication is essential for our clients and our company to run smoothly.
7. A Master’s Degree in Education or a related field applicable to Executive Function skill building is required or equivalent work experience.
8. At least three years of rich and diverse experience working with individuals with executive function deficits.
9. Experience supporting K-12 and college students, teaching at online schools/virtually, supporting business executives, or supporting career development and transitions.
10. Experience working one-to-one with individuals, preferably as a special education teacher, speech and language pathologist, school psychologist, counselor, general education teacher, or in higher education.
11. Comfortable with technology, including Gmail and Google WorkSpace.
12. Must have a quiet, dedicated workspace clear of disruptions for client meetings.
13. Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.

Hiring Process

Candidates who meet our criteria will be contacted via email and invited to a video conference preliminary interview. Candidates who advance in the hiring process will be invited to review a short module about the Beyond BookSmart approach to coaching and participate in a final interview conducted through a web conferencing platform.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting pay is $40/hr for online coaching. Coaching sessions are typically 45-60 minutes weekly. Coaches may have the opportunity to advance to higher rates of pay depending on their performance and tenure with the company after 1 year of consistent coaching.

General Responsibilities

Coaching sessions are typically 45-60 minutes weekly online. Our coaches provide check-ins with clients between their sessions, maintain notes for each client, and follow up with parents/clients after each coaching session.
