Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors is hiring an Executive Function & ADHD Coach to work as a private in-home tutor in North Carolina. The role centers on empowering students with personalized support and evidence-based strategies to improve learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Certified teachers or those on track to becoming one, with a passion for teaching and student success.
• Knowledge of executive function strategies and ADHD is preferred.
• Comfort teaching across subjects in a private in-home setting in NC.

Responsibilities

• Empower students with academic support aligned to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
• Develop customized learning plans to promote understanding over memorization.
• Provide remedial and enrichment opportunities; collaborate with parents to track progress.

• Collaborate with parents to keep them in the loop on progress, struggles, and successes.

What We’re Looking For:

• You hold a current, valid North Carolina Professional Educator's License issued by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI).
• You’re a qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of becoming one).
• You’re a current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education or an approved educator preparation program.
• You have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.
• You are knowledgeable about Executive Functioning and ADHD.
• You're currently in North Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, Apex, Brier Creek, Leesville.
