Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors in North Carolina is seeking Executive Function & ADHD Coaches to join a private in-home tutoring team. We’re a dynamic company dedicated to igniting a love of learning and helping students reach their fullest potential.

We’re looking for energetic educators who want to make a real difference and shape young minds. You should be a certified teacher or pursuing certification, with knowledge of executive function and ADHD.

Qualifications

• Certified teachers or candidates actively pursuing certification.
• Current North Carolina Professional Educator’s License or in process.
• Experience or focus on executive function and ADHD coaching.

Responsibilities

• Empower students with NC standards-based academic support.
• Develop customized learning plans that promote deep understanding.
• Offer remedial and enrichment opportunities to challenge students.
• Collaborate with parents to monitor progress and share updates.

• Empower students with academic support based on the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
• Develop customized learning plans that help students truly understand the material, not just memorize it.
• Offer remedial and enrichment opportunities to help students who need extra support—or a challenge to stretch them further.
• Collaborate with parents to keep them in the loop on progress, struggles, and successes.

What We’re Looking For:

• You hold a current, valid North Carolina Professional Educator’s License issued by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI).
• You’re a qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of becoming one).
• You’re a current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education or an approved educator preparation program.
• You have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.
• You are knowledgeable about Executive Functioning and ADHD.
• You’re currently in North Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, Apex, Brier Creek, Leesville.
