Job summary

Penn State Health - Penn State Health Medical Group LLC seeks a Vice Chair of Education for the Department of Emergency Medicine. The role oversees undergraduate, graduate medical education and APP education, aligning initiatives across the department and reporting to the Chair.

Responsibilities include setting educational strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, budgeting education, and leading Grand Rounds and faculty development.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in medical education leadership.
• Track record of scholarship: publications in peer review journals, conference presentations.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical education leadership.

Responsibilities

• Set educational strategy for the Department of Emergency Medicine in collaboration with the education team.
• Measure progress and report to Department leadership.
• Provide oversight of regulatory standards for educational programs (LCME/ACGME).
• Assist with annual budget educational components.
