University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Executive Education is seeking a Director of Open Enrollment Programs to lead a high-profile portfolio of executive education offerings, partnering with Wharton faculty and leadership to ensure high-quality, market-relevant learning experiences.

The role requires strategic vision, strong financial oversight, and the ability to cultivate university partnerships while delivering exceptional participant outcomes across in-person and online formats.

Qualifications

>> Demonstrated experience independently managing a complex portfolio of executive education, professional learning, higher education, or related programs from strategy and development through delivery and evaluation.
> Strong business and financial acumen, including experience evaluating market opportunities, developing pricing strategies, managing program budgets or P&Ls, assessing profitability, and making resource allocation recommendations.
> Exceptional relationship-management and influencing skills, with experience partnering effectively with faculty, senior executives, institutional leaders, clients, and cross-functional teams.
> Demonstrated ability to provide matrix leadership, mentor colleagues, and guide teams through influence and subject-matter expertise without direct supervisory authority.

Responsibilities

> Strategic Program and Portfolio Leadership: provide strategic leadership, ownership, and decision making of a significant, complex portfolio of Open Enrollment programs; guide content and delivery; ensure participant satisfaction and financial success.
> New Program Development: lead evaluation and development of new Open Enrollment programs from opportunity through launch; assess demand, alignment, pricing, and profitability.
> University Partnership Development: identify and execute strategies to expand the university partnership portfolio; translate objectives into customized programming.
> P&L management: independently responsible for contributing to department profitability through pricing and expense management.
> Stakeholder collaboration: work with Business Development, Client Relations, Marketing to support group enrollments and revenue growth; collaborate across divisions.
