• Provides leadership and oversight for the Wildlife Services NWRC and ensures NWRC mission focus on methods development.
• Develops strategic and operational plans to support NWRC and Wildlife Services priorities.
• Participates as a member of the Wildlife Services Management Team in plans, policies and objectives.
• Leads program directions through staff for laboratory and field research with Federal, Tribal, State and local partners.
• Evaluates program operations for effectiveness and impact.
• Maintains effective relations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversees budgets based on detailed research planning and workload capabilities.
• Provides scientific leadership in evaluation, testing, and new technologies for wildlife damage management.
