Job summary

Daiichi Sankyo in the United States seeks an Executive Director for US Medical Research, Strategy, Operations, and Engagement to lead medical affairs activities across the oncology portfolio, from late clinical phases through launch and post-approval.

You will partner with commercial and development teams to shape medical strategies, oversee scientific communications, and drive lifecycle management, patient advocacy, and external engagements.

Qualifications

• Advanced doctorate degree in medical/scientific area required; MD strongly preferred.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Oncology or related specialty or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10+ years related experience in oncology, clinical, or research fields.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the face of US Medical Affairs and oversee Oncology team interactions with external experts.
• Partner with marketing, access, operations, and commercial teams on brand plans and objectives.
• Lead development and execution of global and US medical strategies and lifecycle activities.
• Oversee interpretation and dissemination of scientific data from Oncology studies.
• Attract and develop US Medical Affairs talent and manage budget for the Oncology group.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for US Medical Affairs and related functions.
