Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a seasoned Director II in Family Office Solutions to lead and cultivate UHNW client relationships, coordinating across wealth planning, banking, and asset management to deliver tailored strategies.

The role emphasizes organic growth, cross-functional collaboration, and deep client insight with a focus on UHNW needs, financial goal fulfillment, and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in UHNW relationship management or sales.
• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics; MBA preferred.
• CFP, CPA, CFA, CTFA, CFM certificates preferred.
• FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses and Insurance licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates and manages deep UHNW client relationships as central contact.
• Develop referrals from internal and external sources including centers of influence.
• Coordinate with team of experts to develop and implement tailored wealth management strategies.
• Orchestrates specialists to provide holistic financial services including wealth structuring, credit facilities, banking, asset management, budgeting, insurance, charitable giving, wealth transfer, and tax services.
• Develops tailored meeting agendas and presentations with proactive, targeted advice to meet client goals.
• Contributes to organic growth by expanding current relationships and sourcing new ones.
